November 29-30 and December 1, 2007: Take a trip to merrie olde England when Covenant College hosts the annual Madrigals Dinner. Tickets may be ordered by telephone by calling 706.419.2800 on October 29-30 from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. These are the primary ticket sale times for this historically sold-out event. Georgia


November 16, 2007 - January 5, 2008: Rock City's Enchanged Garden is "a Southern holiday tradition, this award-winning, light extravaganza features more than 25 holiday scenes and a million lights that transform the gardens' natural daytime splendor into a nocturnal fantasyland. Enjoy gingerbread cookie decorating, hot cocoa and nightly entertainment." Georgia


December 19: The Lookout Mountain Parkway Association will meet Wednesday, at Randy's Restaurant on SR136 West in Trenton, Georgia, at 12 p.m. for an information and planning session, as well as a Christmas Party. Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee


January-May, weekends: DeSoto State Park teams with JSU to present Field School, bringing you "a series of interpretive programs intended to educate the public about all things nature." Visit the website for weekly nature events including campfires and hiking. Alabama


January 25 and February 8: The Covenant Arts Concert Series will continue, presenting Jean-Louis Haguenauer in January and the Dismembered Tennesseans in February. January-December: The first and last Saturday of each month is open gate date at the Lula Lake Landtrust for hiking, biking, and picnicking.(pets are welcome on a leash). Georgia
